The conference which we attended is at the World Forum.
Grocery stores in The Netherlands warrant an entire blog post because they are just that great.
First off: so much produce. Great variety of fruit, greater variety of vegetables and pre-packaged vegetables, more so than Trader Joes.
Arrived at the house with two colleagues at 11:30pm on Sunday, 10/20/13. We took a taxi from the train station off The Hague Central (or Den Haag Centraal).

Landed in Amsterdam on Saturday, 10/19/13 at 10am and got to Holiday Inn by 11:30am.
On Friday, 8/9/13, I went to the Howard County Fair. Maryland was a nice change of scenery from D.C. and I was pleasantly surprised by what the fair had to offer.
It was my first time seeing livestock up close.
