On Friday, 8/9/13, I went to the Howard County Fair. Maryland was a nice change of scenery from D.C. and I was pleasantly surprised by what the fair had to offer.
It was my first time seeing livestock up close.
Cows and pigs being auctioned. First time hearing an auctioneer in action and man they talk fast.
Pygmy goats!
Baby pigs.
Baby duck.
Baby ostriches.
And of course the carnival rides which I didn’t expect my boring-ass to get on. I succumbed to my friend’s pressure and ended up happy with the decision!
Great Friday. Got back at 2:30am and slept at 3am, only to wake up at 9am on Saturday to go… paddleboarding on the Potomac River! [Next post]
