Welcome to my website! I founded this site in 2013 out of a love for writing, one of my favorite creative outlets. The intent was to share travel-related stories as I lived and worked abroad, but posts gradually evolved to simply sharing real-life experiences.
I write because I enjoy spreading information freely. I’ve learned so much from others over time and want to be able to share that knowledge to anyone who may find it useful. These days, my content focuses on DIY and travel.
I was born and raised in Fullerton, CA and currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area. My career is in software product management, and I’m currently a Director of Product at Truepic. I received my BA from UC Berkeley. Years after swearing off school for life, I got my MBA again from UC Berkeley after discovering that school became enjoyable when I focused on learning instead of grades.
My wife Bonita and I have a young daughter, CC, whom I absolutely adore. I spend most my time on family, working on side projects, and friendly competition – be it playing or watching tennis, board games, and video games.
